Impact & Carbon
Impact & Carbon
Every hectare is a carbon sink. Industrial hemp draws down carbon as it grows — and Wandarra locks much of it into long-life products.
A crop that captures carbon
Hemp is one of the fastest carbon-capturing crops on earth. As it grows it pulls carbon dioxide from the atmosphere — up to 22 tonnes of CO₂ per hectare, per growth cycle. Where conventional materials release carbon, hemp absorbs it.
Locking it in
Capturing carbon only matters if it stays captured. By turning hemp into durable goods — building materials, board and panels — Wandarra keeps much of that carbon stored for the life of the product, not released back into the air.
Regenerative by nature
A fast-growing, low-input crop that improves the land it's grown on.
Carbon stored, not spent
Long-life hemp products keep captured carbon out of the atmosphere.
Measured, not claimed

Impact at scale
Every additional hectare compounds the environmental contribution.
